Unwelcome Items
The following items are not welcome on campus, at any College related activity or on any student’s person when in transit to or from the College or in College uniform:
• Dangerous items such as aerosol cans, weapons (including replicas), fireworks and metal rulers.
• Illegal substances such as drugs, alcohol and cigarettes.
• Unnecessary items such as chewing gum, spray deodorants, correction fluid, and permanent markers of any kind, so as to avoid misuse.
• Inappropriate items such as violent, racist or pornographic images, whether in digital or print form.
The College reserves the right to
• exclude a child from class or the College if they possess any unwelcome item.
• involve the police in situations where possession of any item contravenes the law.
• search a student’s school bag or belongings where there is reasonable suspicion of unwelcome items being brought to school.
